This course teaches the basics for importing data files, coding for themes, and running search queries in NVivo to analyse qualitative surveys.

By the end of this session, you should be able to:

  • understand the NVivo main window 
  • use the toolbars and menu commands 
  • import source documents (text surveys)
  • code text into nodes (themes)
  • create search queries 
  • visulise the search result into a chart
